The 3 Week Diet Review: Does Brian Flatt System Really Work ?

Well, when I was thinking about purchase this system, there wasn’t any helpful reviews about it so I figured that I would write one to help out anyone that was in my position. I will be covering the good and the bad points, if you are not interested in hearing this I wouldn’t read any farther.Let’s start with the author.


The creator is a guy named Brian Flatt and he has a degree in biology from the San Diego State University.  Brian claims to be a sport nutritionist, a health coach and a  personal trainer that has been in the industry since the 90’s.

I done a little bit of research about him and it turns out that he is the owner of a company call REV fitness in So. California.  I actually found out that he has worked with quite a few celebrities getting them ready for movie roles.



Well to quote the website. “The 3 Week Diet is a fool proof, science based diet that is 100% guaranteed to melt away 12-23 pounds of stubborn body fat in just 21 days.”

This words grabbed my attention to do research about it.  That is a pretty bold claim to be putting a money back guarantee on.  There are a lot of products that make such claims but you rarely see one that guarantees it.

If you have tried other diet books and weight loss plans, if you have taken fat burning pills and have had little to no results, then this system may be just what you have been looking for.

If you are waiting a special event coming up and your fat cause a problem for you, and you don’t have months to do it in. If you’ve packed on pounds over the holidays that you want to lose, this plan may help.



This plan is designed for anyone who needs to lose weight but doesn’t want to wait months to see meaningful results. The program promises you that in 21 days you will lose 12 to 23 pounds of body fat or your money back, no questions asked.


The entire system consists of four manuals consolidated into a single, 96-page document for convenience. It is available in a downloadable PDF format. Each manual is packed with information to fully prepare, guide, and motivate you to quickly drop the weight using a safe and effective process.


This is the largest of the manuals, comprising 43 pages, which is almost half of the document. It is a comprehensive read about the science of how we gain and lose weight. There is a lot of important information here.

The main issues addressed here are:

  • In order for your body to burn fat that fat must first be mobilized (moved out of your fat cells), and this is the hard part. But unless this happens none of the stored fat will burn off.
  • You can’t just reduce calories by some arbitrary number and expect to lose weight. You must have a calorie reduction to match your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) if your weight loss efforts are going to succeed.

There is a lot of information in this manual. It is easy to read, but depending on your tolerance for scientific research you may be tempted to skip through all the science and go directly to the section on the good stuff (the Diet Manual). Avoid doing so as it is important for you not to enter into a diet blindly; rather, you need an understanding of  how your eating habits have gotten your body to the state that it is in today, and what must happen to return it to the optimal state you desire it to be. You’ll form a greater appreciation for the underlying basis of this revolution diet and what it is designed to do for your body, and you’ll be more likely to stick with it.

Be aware that there are recommendations in this manual for various supplements to take as part of this custom plan. They add up and some of them can be pricey so shop around to get the best deals.


The diet manual is where all the information you read about in the first book comes together in a concrete recipe for losing weight. It is not your usual one-size-fits-all plan. Phase 3: This is a 3-day phase lasting from day 9 through 11. Now your body is ready to burn fat more efficiently, and this phase focuses on releasing and burning up a great deal of body fat. You’ll also have the pleasure of reading more scientific research that supports the activities in this phase.

Phase 4: The final phase of the meal plan guide covers the remaining days and is two-fold. It introduces you to eating a bit of a more normal diet than what you’ve been experiencing. But it also incorporates a calorie-restriction based on your personal BMR and the aggressiveness of your weight loss goals.

Some things that I think it could do better is include a more intense workout plan.  I don’t mind working hard and I believe a longer workout plan could easily give some huge results.  Another thing is the science behind it isn’t discussed as much as I would like, they do talk about it and the diet did work for me but I enjoy learning way something works in more detail.  Also there is a little extra cost involved buying supplements that wasn’t really mentioned, I give them a quick recommendation at the end of the article


This is the fourth and final ebook of the guide. The author took into consideration that to have success, you have to have the right mindset. This is something that is usually overlooked in diet plans. Knowing not only how the body works to lose weight but how the human mind works is really one big part of why this diet system is so successful.

We can all use motivation at some time and usually we need it most when our goal is to lose weight. This teaches you how to be focused on your goals and stay motivated. After all, a diet is only as good as the person is motivated.


Well after following the full advices of this amazing plan exactly I lost 19 pounds.  The first week and a half I dropped 11 pounds and the second week and a half it tapered off a little to 9 pounds.  I was actually hoping to lose a little over 20 to put me a little closer to my 30 pound goal.  What I think I am going to do is give it a go for another 3 weeks.  There are some things that I like and some things that I think could be improved with this program.

One of the main thing I like is the fact that it does a good job laying out an easy to follow plan and I do feel like the program followed through on its promises.  Also I am not a vegetarian or vegan but if you are this is something that you can still follow.  While I am a fan of getting a hard copy, I have to admit that it was nice to be able to start it right away.  Something else that appealed to me is the fact that it had

I think the 3 Week Diet is a viable option for someone looking to drop some extra pounds fast.  In my opinion this is a border line extreme diet and I think that if you could possibly have medical problems from losing weight that fast you should stay away from it or at least consult your doctor about it first.

For everyone else, I would say to give it a shot if you are looking for fast weight loss.  It worked pretty good for me and I don’t see any reason that it won’t work for you unless you purchase it and don’t use it.  The system  is definitely not a “Magic Pill”, it does involve some work and if you are not willing to put 3 weeks into it I would save your money.
